10 Deserts Solo Cycle Epic

A warm shower at Purnie Bore ( http://www.exploroz.com/Places/932/SA/Purnie_Bore.aspx ) this morning was fabulous and bath at Dalhousie Hot Spring ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalhousie_Springs ) this evening will be even better. Mr SUUNTO tells me I've ridden, hiked, crawled 5600m ascent over 470kms so far through the Simpson. I hope to reach Alice Springs by next Wednesday. Thanks for RFDS donations from 4 wheel drivers I met in the Simpson.

Tonight one very contented but very exhausted bike rider lays his head down to sleep by the campfire. 10 Deserts now complete, but still a few hundred lazy kms back to Alice.
